ISO 22000 Food Safety

Fruit Fillings Inc. received a Superior GMP audited facility rating from AIB International.

GMP refers to the Good Manufacturing Practice Regulations promulgated by the US Food and Drug Administration under the authority of the  Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.  These regulations, which have the force of law, require that during the manufacturing, processing, and packaging of our products, we take proactive steps to ensure that the products are safe and pure. GMP regulations require a quality approach to manufacturing, enabling companies to minimize or eliminate instances of contamination, mix-ups, and errors.

Fruit Fillings Inc. "participates" in GMA-SAFE (also called FPA-SAFE) third party audits. A GMA audit is not a scored audit & so is not a "Pass" or "Fail" situation.

The GMA-SAFE audit is a combination audit composed of Food Safety and Quality criteria. It contains five categories, 122 criteria items and 36 summary sections.

Food safety and
ISO 22000 Certification

Fruit Fillings Inc. is proud to announce that we have achieved ISO 22000 certification. The ISO 22000 standard clarifies requirements and standards of food safety across national borders and throughout the supply chain. If your company does not require ISO 22000 certification it should, because consumers and governments are increasingly aware of the issue of food safety and are demanding accountability and assurances of food safety.
